Dr. Andrew Vall is a clinical psychologist who provides therapy and coaching services with a warm, collaborative approach. He works primarily with adolescents, young adults, and families, helping them navigate life transitions, academic challenges, and emotional health concerns. Dr. Vall also offers specialized support through Executive Function Coaching and Cogmed Coaching, supporting clients in building skills for focus, memory, and organization.
Dr. Vall joined Landstrom Center in 2023, where he has continued to expand his work in supporting young people and families through evidence-based therapy and skill-building approaches. With advanced training across schools, universities, and clinical settings, he tailors his work to meet clients where they are—whether that’s helping a teenager adjust to high school, guiding a young adult through the pressures of college, or supporting families in strengthening communication and relationships. His unique integration of evidence-based therapy with creative approaches, such as Geek Therapy (using video games and technology therapeutically), makes his style both relatable and effective for today’s clients.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Vall has a personal and professional interest in supporting individuals with chronic medical conditions. Living with Cystic Fibrosis himself, he brings empathy and insight into the emotional and psychological aspects of managing long-term health challenges.
Therapy Approach
Dr. Vall’s approach is collaborative, compassionate, and strength-based. He focuses on helping clients identify their goals, build practical coping strategies, and develop lifelong skills for resilience and growth. He emphasizes open communication and empowerment, ensuring that clients and families feel supported, understood, and equipped to make positive changes.
