CLINICAL HYPNOTHERAPY

‍WHAT IS CLINICAL HYPNOTHERAPY?

Clinical hypnotherapy can be defined as an altered state of consciousness, awareness, or perception. Hypnotherapy is a highly relaxed state in which the client’s consciousness and subconscious mind is focused and receptive to therapeutic suggestion. Hypnotherapy can assist in dealing with many emotional and physical issues either as an adjunct to other treatments or as a stand alone approach. At Landstrom Center, our clinical team will work with each patient to evaluate if hypnotherapy would be effective right for them.

HOW DOES CLINICAL HYPNOTHERAPY WORK?

Hypnotherapy is a safe, relaxing procedure. With hypnotherapy, it is important to remember the patient is in control and if the patient wanted, for any reason, to interrupt the state of hypnosis the patient is in control and able to do so. Landstrom Center’s clinical team is just a facilitator for the patient during hypnotherapy.
