Sarah Riccio, M.A.

Neurofeedback Supervisor | Doctoral Candidate in Clinical Psychology

Sarah earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the College of Mount Saint Vincent in Riverdale, New York in 2010. In 2013, she graduated with her Master’s degree in Experimental Psychology from the City University of New York at Brooklyn College. During this time, she was the Lead Research Assistant for a study that focused on the physiological and emotional components associated with psychopathy to better understand how such factors contribute to criminal behavior. Currently, Sarah is a Doctoral candidate at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. Throughout her doctoral education, she has gained a wealth of experience in various settings including the juvenile justice system, inpatient psychiatric hospital, and community mental health center. Sarah’s main interest is the treatment and rehabilitation of juvenile offenders, as well as assessment and diagnosis of those with severe and persistent mental illnesses. Concurrently, Sarah has been overseeing the Neurofeedback Department since she joined Landstrom Center in 2016.
