Matthew Landstrom, PSYD

Clinical Neuropsychologist

Owner & Clinical Director

Dr. Matthew Landstrom opened Landstrom Center in 2015 with a goal of bringing together a team of clinical professionals who are committed and enthusiastic about data-driven and evidence-based approaches. This goal was grounded in Dr. Landstrom’s unique approach "Test first, no questions later!" which guides patient care at Landstrom Center.

This means the first step is to identify all the major factors contributing to the apparent problem, as well as any secondary problems that could be having an impact. Often, what seems to be one problem is really something else entirely. This diagnostic clarity is accomplished by administering a battery of tests personalized to the patient’s unique presentation and history. By identifying specific areas in need of intervention that may otherwise not have been considered, the rate of recovery increases and much more targeted treatments and interventions can be implemented. He developed his unique treatment approach while serving as the Clinical Director of an adolescent and young adult substance abuse/dual diagnosis and mental health treatment facility, whereby a greater understanding of a patient’s cognitive functioning and capabilities was utilized to increase the efficiency and efficacy of treatment, as well as improving the chance of sustained recovery and ultimate outcomes.

Dr. Landstrom is a Clinical Neuropsychologist specializing in the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, and adults with psychological, neurological, and neurodevelopmental disorders. He is the owner and Clinical Director of Landstrom Center.
